Beeswax and Walnut oil polish is used to preserve and enhance the surface of this rocking chair made from Ash, Beech and Hickory hardwoods. Nothing artificial is added to the wood surface, in fact it is edible polish. The wood is slow grown hardwood and I try to best reveal what is beneath the outer layers and enhance them with an eye for its beauty. Remember that even if you scratch or stain the surface, underneath is layer upon layer of the same again, that can always be revealed afresh.
